Opening Performance
Shangaza Performers is a group of artists who came together in 2007 to preserve, promote and celebrate African culture through the visual and performing arts. We work with people who want to broaden their understanding and appreciation of music, dance and drama and learn new skills of expression.We provide entertainment on different occasions like weddings, fundraising, music and dance festivals, African heritage celebrations and private parties. |

5:00pm – 5:30pm: Closing Performance
The House of Monroe was formed in December of 2006, when a few close friends decided they wanted to defy the odds and make a change in the Toronto Dance scene. We all choreograph and Vogue, so there is a different flavour from the rest. The House of Monroe plans to storm the scene, so watch out |

Ms Burunda came to Canada 14yrs ago and went to College in Winnipeg. She moved to Toronto in 2000 to work. She has a partner of eight (8) years. |

7:00pm – 7:30pm:
Performance by Stephanie Stephens
Stephanie Stephens has been a female impersonator for 20 years and travelled to different countries in a show called An Evening at LaCage doing such stars as Tina Turner, Janet Jackson, Dionne Warrick, Ella Fitzgerald, Patti Labelle and many others. She has also travelled with a group in Canada know as The Imposters and now travels the country and the USA promoting the prelims for MCW and her one woman show Feelin Bitchy - Coming to a City near You. Recently she has produced such events as:
• The Black Entertainment Awards (celebrating diversity) coming March 2010
• The Drag ball
• Pride Ball coming June 2010
• Miss Canada World and World plus Pageants (prelims in 8 cities)
• Miss Canada International |
