About the Summit

This summit is for:

• African, Caribbean and Black gay, bisexual, transgender and queer men from across Ontario
• ACCHO members from across Ontario
• Organizations working to engage ACB communities around health, wellbeing and social justice.

Registration

Registration for the Summit is Free.  English/French Translation will be available at the Summit.  To register for the summit please click the registration link.

Scholarships

A limited number of Full and Partial Scholarships will be awarded to eligible participants who reside outside of the Greater Toronto Area.  Scholarships will be awarded on a first come first service basis and may cover the cost of travel, accommodations and per diem. 

Full Scholarship: (refers to the full payment of Travel, Accommodations and Per-diem)

Partial Scholarship: (refers to payment of Accommodations and Per-diem only)

Per-diem for scholarship recipients will be paid at a rate of $35 per day.  Breakfast and Lunch will be provided free to all participants attending the Summit.

Non-Scholarship Participants

All other persons wishing to attend the summit may do so at their own expense. 

Travel Information: An account has been set up with Via Rail to facilitate participants who will cover their own travel arrangements.  This account allows for participants to get a 10% discount on the most economical fare for travel to and from the summit.  Information on how to access this discount will be sent to you in your summit registration confirmation.

Accommodation Information: Accommodations for persons who have not been awarded a scholarship may be sought by contacting the Ramada Plaza Toronto.  You can find contact details for the Ramada Plaza on the Hotel Information link.

Exhibitors

The Planning Committee of the Summit invites exhibits from Organizations working to engage ACB communities around health, wellbeing and social justice.  Organisations that meet the criteria as an exhibitor may register via the registration link.  Registration does not guarantee your attendance at the summit.  All organisations registered via the registration link will be contacted on whether they have been selected to be an exhibitor.  A maximum of 2 persons are allow to attend the event on behalf of an exhibiting organisation.
